It was in the last month of
October, 2012 that an incident happened, that really hit me. I had my CA Final
exams in 1st week of November. My neighbour’s son who was 21 years
old, died of heart attack. Yes, this really shook me. I am always prepared for
death. As we all know someday we all will be gone, it’s just a matter of time.
But what hit me was that at such young, how come one can die of heart attack
that too without any symptoms at such a young age. He had no health issues and
he was perfectly fine. It was at night his body arrived in an Ambulance. I
carried his body along with others, inside the house. I still remember, that
moment, when I carried his body, it was a strange feeling that can never be
explained.

My Conversation With Death
Disclaimer: I just want to say that neither I am in any state of depression nor I feel that my life is such a waste. This post is all about my thoughts which I keep thinking to myself regularly. These thoughts help me to lead a better life as we all have only one Life to live.
Who Are You?
"Dear Death, I don't know how to start the conversation with you. Do I start by asking, how are you ? But then that would be a strange question right, asking Death how are you. You take away the answer to this question from others. Do you have feelings, I mean what kind of feelings. Almost every person on this earth don't like you, because you take away their lives and their dear ones. For some you give a hint as to when you are coming and for others you come as a surprise."

True Love Has No Death
And the wait was endless
There was no sight of her,
Yet he wished to wait for her
A beautiful face appeared at a distance,
And he felt the wait was worth it
As she approached him with a Gorgeous Smile,
A broken heart was waiting to be connected
Her closeness made his breath stop for a while,
And he stood there without any expression
Like a lightning striking the earth,
He suddenly realised it was just a dream
As she was buried under this concrete slab,
He knew she would never come back
He stood up and started walking away,
A walk towards peace and towards his own destiny
True love never dies,
Because there is none to claim victory
Death might have moved him far away,
But memories brought him closer to her
He walked away for a better tomorrow with a thought,
"A Priceless Dream has conquered the separation created by Death"

Fallen Leaves
Those dried leaves were lying all over the place
They were trying to convey something
Some are dead and others were dying
As I hold them to talk to,
they smiled at me even at the time of their death
I didn't know what to make of it
I smiled at them and moved on
Then I wondered,
I smiled at them and moved on
Then I wondered,
if they can smile even at the time of their death,
why can't we when we have so much to live for.
Keep Smiling,
Prashanth.

Death - A Great Leveller
You
know I was always and I am still fascinated by Death. Well, it’s not actually
fascinating to see someone die and neither do I wish someone to die. But think
of it, when Death stares at us, there is nothing in this world that can stop
it. In the face of death, everything just disappears, I mean everything. Your
money, fame, material items, relationships, dear ones, or close friends. This
is why I call it as fascinating. I used to question myself, if assume I am gonna
live for another 6 months then will I change my lifestyle, will I remain the
same, will I indulge in something which I wanted to do for a long period of
time, how will my friends miss me, will the world around me change, will people
around me act differently……so many questions.

Loneliness Kills
Loneliness kills, yes it does, provided you think there is no purpose for you to live. It’s a part of life to feel lonely sometimes. There are many reasons for this. Every person has his or her own reason to be so. Sometimes, you just can’t help being so. You feel, you have no one to share your sorrows, feelings, etc. Everyone will come across loneliness in some part of their life. Trust me, it’s worse than death.
