Women of Substance

Blogging has been a great thing for me. Recently the world celebrated the International Women’s Day. I wanted to write a post dedicated to women. But then I didn’t want it to be on that day only (i.e. on Women’s Day). I thought why don’t we celebrate women’s day every single day, every year from Jan 1st to Dec 31st. So this blog is a dedication to my fellow blogger friends who are women, who blog beautifully by spreading the smile and happiness.

In blogging, you come across some wonderful people who spread happiness and positivity. Me being a positive person there is an automatic connection when you come across people who spread happiness. Well these days we come across so much negativity or bad news, it may be in newspapers, TV or just in our surroundings that it feels really good when you come across people who are enthusiastic and happy.

This post is a dedication to 3 women blogger friends whose blogs I follow and who also follow my blogs. I have read their posts and the enthusiasm with which they write makes you feel coming back for more. Their motto is to spread happiness and make people smile no matter whatever is the situation. I can promise you one thing, you will never feel sad after reading their posts. They are enthusiastic, cheerful and happy.

According to me some of the common things, which I share with these people are, the enthusiasm, simplicity in the posts, smiling always & making others smile and being positive no matter whatever is the situation. I have not met any one of them personally nor interacted with them except with Ramya, but their blog posts are enough to appreciate these woman of substance. The people whom I referring to are (in no particular order):

I love appreciating people and my fellow bloggers. When you are positive, everything else just fades away. Whether they write poetry, any descriptive post, random happenings in their lives or just about anything, there is a touch of smile, enthusiasm and simplicity in their posts, which I love it. I believe that words are the best way to express one’s appreciation and I loved writing this post. A small poem dedicated to these wonderful women:

Your smile brings hope
A hope that shows the path.
It unravels those thoughts
A million thoughts that was hidden for years.
It wipes someone’s tears
Tears that craved for attention.
It brings together two lonely souls
Souls that were forced to take different paths.
Your smile is what everyone wants to see
For it makes their lives worth living.

As I sign off this post, I would like to conclude by saying that:

“Never underestimate the power of Smile, because it can change someone’s life.”

PS: I like to thank Ramya & Himani for allowing me to use their pic for this post. Anjali was not comfortable sharing her pic and I respect her decision. Keep spreading the smile. Cheers and God bless you all...:)
