I Tried

When tears rolled down your eyes,

I tried to wipe it

When you needed a shoulder to lean on,

I tried to lend mine

When people mocked at you,

I tried to defend you

When negative thoughts clouded your mind,

I tried to make you look at the positive side of things

When you shared your sorrows,

I tried to sympathize with you

When you stayed far away,

I felt closer to you

When you felt there was none,

I tried to be that someone you needed

When you wanted to express your feelings,

I tried to suppress mine to listen to you

I may not be the ideal one you are looking for, 

But with all the flaws I have my friend, I tried.

"I" refers to each one of us who tried to be the best one for their friend, yet the other person didn't notice it or acknowledge it. You know how hard you tried but a friend of yours took you for granted. Every one would have faced this situation that at some point in time, you gave it all for your friend, even at your own cost, just to ensure that your friend stays happy or doesn't feel lonely.

Empty Wooden Bench And A Mysterious Face

He was wondering what wrong he did that god is punishing him with all the loneliness. He was a loner and the empty wooden bench was his best companion. Every day he used to come here and the empty wooden bench would be waiting for him. As he was about to sit, a mystery face in a photo lying next to him on the bench caught his eye. He picked it up to see that mystery face hiding behind the scarf. It immediately brought a smile on his face. It was too intriguing to miss. He was very sure there was a beautiful face hidden behind that scarf but sadly he couldn’t do anything. He titled the photo from right to left and left to right just to look at once that face, but to no avail. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn’t do anything. After all, it was just a photo. For years he felt lonely and today was a special day. An unknown photo of girl made him feel really happy.

If Only We Could Talk

If only we could talk to each other, most of the problems in the world would just vanish. Most of the time we just don't make an effort to talk.

Some days back I went to meet a friend at her house. It was a surprise visit as I had not informed her. She stays reserved all the time. I knew she would be happy to meet me. So I met her and she was surprised and happy to see me. Her eyes brightened and her nice smile greeted me. We spoke for about 20 minutes. It was nice. I wanted to make her feel good and see her happy. She was so happy to see me, she couldn’t control her tears. I smiled and I knew it was the tears of happiness and joy...:) I love to make people smile and I am kind of good at it, thanks to god...:)

Stillness

There is something unique in the stillness,

the self takes center stage

the never seen side of natural beauty comes alive

and you will be closer than ever before to oneself.

Everything stops except the heart beat

that always beats for so many other things, 

but today it beats only for you

as you deserve more than anyone else.

Life is Beautiful

Hey people, looks like these days there are so many ways to get upset about something or someone. So many things are happening in each one's life. Cheer up, there is always a silver lining, there will always be light at the end of the tunnel. If the light at the end of the tunnel is looks too far, just break open the tunnel. In a day, you have so many ways to get hurt, provided you allow it. Life is Beautiful, its damn right. No second thoughts about it.
